Global hotkeys was a feature added to Radio Stream Player to allow control over Radio Stream Player while playing a game in full screen or some other situation when clicking on the keyboard is faster then using the GUI. It in short allows you to click on a predefined button on your keyboard and then Radio Stream Player can mute, stop, change volume or player your favorite station.
This update for Radio Stream Player is massive as you may have guessed, it contains big changes internally and adds some killer new features like Tags, Searching for stations on a site and Global hotkeys.
A new beta version of Radio Stream Player is getting very close to having its first public beta version. Since this version changes a lot of things internally a closed beta would be good. During this beta phase checking the following things will be of priority
So anyone willing to test the closed beta contact us ( Please specify what language your using RSP in )
Radio Stream Player supports adding custom stations via the Station editor, you can add stations manually or see if the web spider can find the station urls. If your a technically savvy person doing it the manual way is a option, to read more about that check out the Station editor page.
If you want to try out the Finder station option, you can find it Options -> Edit station list -> Find stations on site .
Short description on the Find Station web spider
This automated web spider will search web pages automatically and find direct links to stations that can be used in Radio Stream Player. This web spider is off course not perfect, and will not work on every site. If it fails you can try to find the direct station links manualy
This feature only exists in Radio Stream Player 2 beta
